dc.description.abstractEl modelo de Sustitución de las importaciones llamado ISI “Industrialización por Sustitución” busca el desarrollo en Latinoamérica, provino de la Comisión Económica para América Latina (CEPAL), y dio resultados positivos en la década de los cincuenta, tales como el aumento del empleo por la naciente industrialización de varios sectores especialmente pequeñas y medianas empresas. El plan nacional del buen vivir 2013-2017 fomentado por el gobierno ecuatoriano impulsa la matriz productiva en sectores considerados estratégicos asegurando la generación de mayor valor agregado a la producción. El objetivo general de este trabajo es evaluar la factibilidad para desarrollar un producto nacional que sustituya al importado considerando aspectos como costos, calidad y precios finales en el mercado local. La metodología aplicada fue la investigación descriptiva, porque se determinó el efecto de la sustitución de las importaciones en Ecuador. El tipo de investigación fue cuantitativo con datos secundarios porque se recopiló datos de las importaciones y manufactura para determinar la viabilidad. Como resultado se evidenció que en Ecuador existe la industria manufacturera nacional para fabricación de peluches, quienes trabajan con modernas máquinas, tecnología acorde al mercado y materiales importados brindando un producto de calidad acorde a las normas internacionales de la seguridad en juguetes EN71-2. Sin embargo, no existe difusión de las fábricas locales. Finalmente se concluye que la fabricación de peluches en el Ecuador es factible, viable y rentable, que la transformación de la matriz productiva dinamiza la economía de un país asegurando un producto de calidad y competitividad para fomentar negocios internacionales.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe substitution of Imports is a model called ISI "Substitution by Industrialization" that seeks the development in Latin America, it came from the Economic Commission for Latin America (CEPAL) this gave the positive results in the fifties years, such as the increased employment by the nascent industrialization from different sectors, specially small and medium enterprises. The national plan “Buen Vivir” 2013-2017 is promoted by the Ecuadorian government who boosts the productive matrix to ensure that strategic sectors have higher value added to their production. The general objective of this resarch is to evaluate the feasibility to develop a national product in order to replace imported, considering aspects such as cost, quality and final prices in the local market. The used methodology was descriptive research, because it was determined the effect of substitution of import in Ecuador. The type of investigation was quantitative with secondary data because the information was collected to determine the feasibility. As a result, in Ecuador exists the domestic industry to manufacture the stuffed plush, they work with modern machines, technology according to the market and imported materials all of them provide a good quality of product according to international standards of safety of toys EN71-2. However, there is not diffusion of local factories. Finally we conclude that the manufacture of stuffed plush in Ecuador is feasible, viable and profitable, that the transformation of the productive matrix boosts the economy in Ecuador to ensure a good quality in products and competitiveness to foster international businesses_ES
