Análisis de la susceptibilidad a los movimientos en masa en la parroquia Balsapamba, Cantón San Miguel, Provincia de Bolívar

Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación tuvo como objetivo determinar la susceptibilidad a movimientos de masas, ubicados en la vía Babahoyo-Guaranda, en la parroquia de Balsapamba, cantón San Miguel, Provincia de Bolívar, mediante el levantamiento geológico e inventario de deslizamientos de ocho puntos seleccionados en el área de estudio, obteniendo como resultado que siete deslizamientos son activos y uno latente, en la clasificación de los deslizamientos cuatro son de tipo traslacional, tres de tipo caída y uno como rotacional. Para la determinación de las zonas susceptibles se aplicó el método de Mora-Vahrson considerando los siguientes factores: litológico, pendiente del terreno, cobertura vegetal y como factores detonantes el disparo por precipitación y la sismicidad, con la finalidad de presentar la amenaza a deslizamientos y representarlos en el mapa de susceptibilidad
The objective of this titling work was to determine the susceptibility to mass movements, located on the Babahoyo-Guaranda road, in the parish of Balsapamba, canton San Miguel, Province of Bolivar, through the geological survey and landslide inventory of eight selected points in the study area, obtaining as a result that seven landslides are active and one latent, in the classification of landslides four are translational type, three are fall type and one is rotational. To determine the susceptible zones, the Mora-Vahrson method was applied considering the following factors: lithology, slope of the terrain, vegetation cover and as triggering factors, precipitation triggering and seismicity, in order to present the landslide hazard and represent it in the susceptibility map.
