dc.description.abstract	Con el pasar del tiempo, en el mundo entero, las viviendas han evolucionado en sus dimensiones. El crecimiento acelerado de la población en las grandes ciudades, agregado al déficit general de viviendas, ha trasformado el hogar en sitios pequeños donde parece imposible adaptar mobiliarios convencionales de medidas estandarizadas y que no ocasionen una circulación conflictiva, además de otros problemas. El mueble cumple con un papel importante en el hogar, es aquel que brinda la seguridad y confort que requiere un espacio para que sea funcional, lo que permite aprovechar al máximo los metros cuadrados que tienen las diferentes áreas de la vivienda, acondicionando el ambiente de manera apropiada para los habitantes del hogar. Este trabajo propone el diseño de mobiliarios multifuncionales en ambientes sala – comedor, en viviendas unifamiliares con espacios reducidos, mediante el estudio de las actividades que se realizan en la vivienda durante el día. Su finalidad fue dar solución a la necesidad, e incomodidad, que se genera en los pequeños espacios, sin olvidar aspectos que se requiere tenga la vivienda, como calidad, comodidad, y estética. En este estudio se determinaron características, como la necesidad urgente de ganar espacio. Se realizaron entrevistas a expertos del tema tratado, y a moradores del sector, tomando como referencia las dimensiones en general de la vivienda, las mismas que sirvieron de complemento para determinar una serie de preguntas para la encuesta, en la que se trató de identificar las actividades de los integrantes de las familias, en el ambiente sala-comedor, según sus hábitos y necesidades urgentes. De acuerdo a los factores que influyen en la falta de espacio, esta tesis propone el estudio y diseño de mobiliario multifuncional, que como su nombre lo indica, cumple múltiples funciones, que permita realizar diferentes actividades, garantizando optimizar espacio en viviendas unifamiliares de dimensiones reducidas, ya que son cada vez más, una opción importante y única, muy independiente del nivel económico-social de quienes la requieren. La disposición de los ambientes de la vivienda, materiales y el mobiliario son factores clave a la hora de acondicionar un espacio pequeño, por lo que es valioso cada metro cuadrado utilizado, sin tener que renunciar a la comodidad y el confort.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	With the passage of time the houses have evolved in the size of their dimensions in the whole world. The accelerated growth of the population of large cities added to the general deficit of housing has transformed the home in small places where it seems impossible to adapt conventional furniture standardized measures that do not cause conflicting circulation in addition to other problems. The furniture plays an important role in the home, being one that provides the security and comfort that requires a space to be functional, allowing to take full advantage of the square meters located in the different areas of the home, conditioning the appropriate environment that the Inhabitants of the home. The following work proposes the design of multifunctional furniture in living - dining rooms in single - family homes with reduced spaces by studying the activities carried out in the dwelling during the day. The purpose is to provide a solution to the need and discomfort that are generated in small spaces, without forgetting to offer the quality, comfort, and aesthetics that housing requires. The study determines characteristics, such as the urgent need to gain space. Interviews were carried out with experts on the subject of furniture and residents of the sector where the dimensions of housing were taken as a reference, which helped determine a series of questions for the survey that identified the activities of the members of the families in The living-dining room according to their habits and urgent needs.
