| dc.description.abstract | La Hacienda San Antonio, se encuentra en el cantón de Baba, ubicado en la provincia de los Ríos, es una zona rural que está habitada por 93 personas, ellos se dedican a la pesca, ganadería y agricultura para poder subsistir. El hospital de Baba cuenta con pocos especialistas, equipos, recursos, que debido a esto no pueden dar un servicio de calidad en cuanto a salud a los habitantes, muchas veces no pueden atender a los ciudadanos y los deben de trasladar a otros hospitales, al de Babahoyo o al de Guayaquil; en este trayecto han fallecido varios pacientes por la movilización de un lugar a otro. Es por esta razón que mediante las encuestas que se han realizado a los habitantes de la Hacienda San Antonio, lugar donde se realizará el proyecto piloto, se vio la necesidad de crear un plan de acción para la implementación de una unidad médica móvil. Se entrevistó a la alcaldesa del Cantón referente a los problemas de salud que existen en el lugar, le gustó mucho la propuesta y se le hizo la petición para que el Municipio de Baba ayude con el financiamiento del proyecto, se tuvo una buena respuesta, es más si tiene buena aceptación lo implementará en otras zonas rurales del cantón. La unidad médica móvil que se implementará estará formada por 2 doctores, 3 enfermeras y 2 choferes, los cuales tendrán horarios rotativos, estará conformada por las siguientes áreas: medicina general, enfermería y limpieza. El servicio que se ofrecerá será sin fines de lucro es decir no tendrá costo para los ciudadanos, es por este motivo que el financiamiento se ha conseguido por medio de convenios, donaciones de fundaciones, ayuda del Municipio y Ministerio de Salud Pública. Se realizará varias actividades, de control y seguimiento en la salud de los habitantes: se impartirán charlas de prevención, cuidado y aseo para prevenir cualquier tipo de situación, y de esta manera se podrá dar un servicio de calidad. | es_ES |
