dc.description.abstractEl presente trabajo de titulación busca contribuir con el Centro de Cómputo en el camino a la modernización, con el plan de virtualización de los veintiséis servidores físicos con los que opera actualmente. Se analizó la infraestructura actual, las diferentes plataformas y herramientas de virtualización, determinando que la arquitectura de hipervisor VMware vSphere ESXi es las más adecuada, ya que ha obtenido el puntaje más alto en los comparativos que se hacen frente a otras opciones. Virtualización de servidor es particionar un servidor físico en diversos servidores virtuales, lo que permitirá ahorro en costos de operación y mantenimiento, optimizar recursos, entre otros beneficios. Se puede establecer que el plan de virtualización aportará mejorando el servicio y funcionalidad de las operaciones de esta institución educativa.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThis project seeks to contribute to the qualification of the Computer Center on the way to the modernization, with a virtualization plan of the twenty-six physical servers with which it currently is been operated. It was analyzed the current infrastructure, the different platforms and virtualization tools, determining that the architecture of VMware vSphere ESXi hypervisor is the most appropriate, because of the highest score that it had gotten in the comparatives that are facing to other options. Server virtualization is to partition a physical server into several virtual servers, allowing savings in operating costs and maintenance, optimize resources, among other benefits. It can be set the virtualization plan which will provide a better service and functionality of the operations of this educational institution.es_ES
