dc.description.abstractEl siguiente trabajo tiene como objetivo principal analizar el impacto ocurrido mediante la aplicación de la salvaguardias en las importaciones de repuestos y accesorios automotrices en el Ecuador, el análisis de este proyecto demuestra un bajo rendimiento socioeconómico, producido por la caída del precio del petróleo y la apreciación del dólar americano por los países vecinos, ocasionando un déficit en las importaciones de repuestos y accesorios del sector automotriz, Esto conllevo a tomar medidas arancelarias al gobierno de turno para proteger la industria nacional y alcanzar un equilibrio fiscal por balanza de pagos. La decisión tomada por el gobierno fue reducir los cupos a las importaciones de vehículos en un 50% aproximadamente, adoptando ante la organización mundial del comercio (OMC), la aplicación de sobretasas arancelarias que fluctuaron entre un 5% y 45% a diferentes productos importados. En Ecuador existen diversos tipos de empresas que se encargan a la Importación, comercialización y distribución en el sector automotriz con el objetivo de incrementar el nivel general de repuestos y poder cubrir la gran demanda de este sectores_ES
dc.description.abstractThe main objective of the following work is to analyze the impact that has occurred through the application of safeguards on imports of spare parts and automotive accessories in Ecuador, the analysis of this project demonstrates a low socioeconomic performance, produced by the fall in the price of oil and appreciation of the US dollar by neighboring countries, causing a deficit in imports of spare parts and accessories of the automotive sector, This led to take tariff measures to the government of the day to protect the national industry and reach a fiscal balance by balance of payments. The decision made by the government was to reduce the quotas to imports of vehicles by 50% approximately, adopting before the World Trade Organization (WTO), the application of tariff surcharges that fluctuated between 5% and 45% to different imported products . In Ecuador there are several types of companies that are responsible for import, marketing and distribution in the automotive sector with the aim of increasing the overall level of spare parts and to meet the high demand in this sector.es_ES
