This research indicates the importance of using task-based activities based on real-life situations that help students to strengthen and improve their communicative skills, increasing their confidence and motivating them to speak employing the second language. This research was carried out with the students of the Tenth grade parallel “A” of the High School “Gral. Pedro J. Montero”, the data was obtained through surveys, interviews, and classroom observation. Through the observation, it became evident that oral practice is very poor during class sessions, which does not make it easy for them to maintain a basic conversation in the English Language. Therefore, it has been proposed the implementation of interactive activities based on task-based regarding daily life, that can be executed in groups or individuals in order to promote the development of oral skills in A2 students.
