It must be put more attention to the reading comprehension learning as this skill is not only an ability, but also an enricher, as it helps students get new vocabulary specially in the phrasal verbs area which is one of the most important parts of the English language, but also one of the most difficult to learn, but having them in texts is a great way to ease the comprehension as help can be found in the context. Reading creates an input that, when is taken in advantage correctly, enriches our passive vocabulary and turns it into an active one. The interview to the teachers, surveys to the students and the observation results were tabulated and these gave results that, together with the theoretical foundations made, were analyzed and synthesized letting to the creation of an innovative didactic resource to improve reading comprehension through phrasal verbs by means of a comic book, with which students will have a better communicative proficiency, as it not only will be eased by the linguistic context, but also by the illustrations found.
