Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación., 2023-09) Espinoza Guale, Brittany Alexandra; Flores Valarezo, Israel David; Bermúdez Rugel, LuisThe present study analyzes the impact of the use of mnemonic devices in the learning of vocabulary in the context of EFL (English as a Foreign Language) in the Fiscal educational unit "Nestor Campuzano Mendoza" to the students of 8th year of basic education, giving as a result the deficiency in vocabulary, was determined with the application of instruments such as observation, student survey and an interview with the teacher. In addition to this, a theoretical investigation of the variables was carried out through historical antecedents, their legal foundations and the context of the investigation. Likewise, the results obtained by the instruments were analyzed statistically and it was considered appropriate to design a didactic guide on the mnemonic equipment so that the teacher can apply it correctly in the classroom, giving rise to the learning of mnemonic techniques based on synergy and didactic content.
