English teachers make big efforts to make interactive classes even though this can be challenged for them. Based on the objectives, rules by the Ecuadorian Curriculum, the main objective of this research is to strength the development of the oral competence of 8th year students at Unidad Educativa Fiscal "Canal de Jambelí", and through the studies and methodologies accomplished the design of a didactic guide with interactive game-based activities. This project was based on field study, bibliographical research and statistical analysis. The data obtained by the observation showed the deficiency in the oral competence of the English language, and the lack of interactive tools used by the teacher to help learners to master a foreign language. For this reason, the implementation of a didactic guide with interactive activities aim to foster the development of the oral competence. As a final result, the students and the teacher will be the beneficiaries and it will allow to reach the level of proficiency stablished in the curriculum.
