Students from the eighth year of basic education, acting as an experimental group, participated in the study, which was conducted at the Laura Vicua Educational Unit. The mixed approach used for this study's execution was taken into consideration, and the interviewing, surveying, and observational techniques and tools helped to establish the project's goals as well as the search for a solution to the discovered problem. It is also of the descriptive type, and when combined with the bibliographic review, the research's antecedents and background were able to be used to concretely define the literature described in this project. These broader aspects helped in the development of a manual for teachers that contains engaging activities for improving listening skills.
