- ÍtemAcceso AbiertoAnimated movie songs to develop listening comprehension for a1.2 level.(Universidad de Guayaquil. Facultad de Filosofía, Letras y Ciencias de la Educación., 2023-09) García Alvarado, Lady Denisse; López Tomalá, Adriana Indira; Cruz Rizo, LornaListening is vital to the communication process, as it allows people to interpret messages effectively. If this skill is not acquired properly, the information received can be misinterpreted, and that could cause good communication not to develop. Therefore, this project aims to show how animated movie songs can help in the development of students' listening comprehension through the performance of listening activities. In addition, throughout this research, students will improve their listening comprehension, their vocabulary will expand, and their pronunciation will develop. Thus, with the help of a bibliographical, statistical, and field study; and with the application of research instruments such as the teacher interview, student survey, and observation sheet, it was proved that ninth-grade students of Basic General Education from Unidad Educativa Particular “Francisco Huerta Rendón” present difficulties to enhance their listening comprehension due to the lack of practice of listening activities and the lack of innovative didactic resources that facilitate their improvement in said skill. That is why this project focused on creating an interactive blog according to the National Curricular Guidelines with A1.2 level listening activities based on animated movie songs to improve students' listening comprehension in a more engaging and accessible way.
