This was verified in “Aguirre Abad” high school, where the third year students did not work very well with reading ability and the tasks applied by the teacher in each methodological stage (before, while and after) are not intended to be used by students of a senior year, through the observation of the class and the methodologies applied as interview and survey, it was discovered that some activities are very traditional for this reason there is not a good analysis and understanding of a text. Therefore, this project tries to analyze the causes and consequences that led to a not so effective teaching and also to recommend the use of a booklet with activities carried out with augmented reality that helps not only to complete exercises in an interactive way and to attract the student but also helps improve reading ability in each student.
