They generate a good environment promoting participation and encouraging students. There are several types of strategies that are used according to the ability to be developed. Discussion, Role Playing and Problem - Solving, are the strategies proposed in this investigation. They involve several activities which may help students to develop their speaking skill as well as their communicative competences, which are essential especially for the acquisition of a new language. Across them, students can use their cognitive processes to relate and acquire newknowledge by putting it into practice in simulated situations. The purpose of this research is providing ways of pe rforming these strategies in class in order to cover students’ necessities, allowing them to develop their speaking skills through a constructivism approach.

However according to the opinion of the researchers, we conclude that to develop this ability is necessary to know the lack that it does. This present investigation is based on evaluating the level of the listening ability of the students at Jaime Alfonso Nebot Velasco public school which during their years of the studies have not been able to develop this ability to understand and interpret what they hear in the English leaning teaching process. The students and teachers were observed and surveyed through surveys that had questions related to the variables developed in this research, the analyzes and results showed the lack of the listening ability in both that is the reason why the proposal of this research had as objective develop a guide with didactic exercises that improve the ability of listening and can be taken for any teacher who wishes to apply it.
