Resumen
La deforestación es uno de los principales problemas que generan el cambio climático y un sin número de desastres a nivel global y local. El propósito de este trabajo es el de cuantificar la deforestación producida en la zona de estudio durante un lapso de tiempo definido, mediante unas herramienta conocidas como la teledetección y sistemas de información geográfica.
La metodología se basó en el análisis computarizado y visual de imágenes satelitales y fotoaéreas, las cuales se sometieron a un debido tratamiento para poder interpretar en una imagen final la cantidad y las zonas donde puede haber sido deforestada.
Este estudio permitió establecer el cambio de cobertura y con esto cuantificar el nivel y la tasa de deforestación.
Deforestation is one of the main problems that generate climate change and a number of disasters globally and locally. The purpose of this work is to quantify the deforestation produced in the study area during a defined period of time, through a tool known as remote sensing and geographic information systems. The methodology was based on the computerized and visual analysis of satellite images and photos, which were subjected to an appropriate treatment to be able to interpret in a final image the quantity and defines the areas where it may have been deforested. It was also analyzed if the method and images used for this study; are a tool to improve the effectiveness of this type of analysis.
