Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación tiene como objetivo proporcionar o actualizar información y tecnologías aplicadas en el área de inmunología sobre el virus linfotrópico humano 1 y 2 (HTLVI-II), la incidencia, prevalencia y diagnósticos de laboratorio en el sector norte de la población de Esmeraldas.
Los estudios aquí realizados son parte de un gran seguimiento que se está realizando alrededor del mundo de este retrovirus productor de enfermedades malignas en el ser humano.
En el trabajo realizado se encontró un paciente con la presencia de anticuerpos para HTLV I/II, lo que nos demuestra que existe el virus en la región, pero sin considerarse una epidemia.
This investigation work has as objetive to provide or to modernize information and technologies applied in the area of inmunology on the Human T Lymphotropic virus 1 and 2 (HTLVI-II), the incidence, prevalencia and laboratory diagnoses in the population´s of Esmeraldas north sector. The studies here carried out they are part of a great pursuit that is being carried out around the world of this retrovirus producing of wicked illnesses in the human being. In the carried out work a patient met with the presence of antibodies for HTLV I/II, what demonstrates us that the virus exists in the region, but without being considered an epidemic.
