Resumen
En el presente trabajo de investigación, se llevó a cabo un análisis de casos en el contexto de la
satisfacción laboral de los trabajadores del área de Logística de la empresa de transporte, ubicada en la
ciudad de Guayaquil. El objetivo general de esta investigación fue determinar los factores predominantes
que inciden en la satisfacción laboral de los empleados de este departamento. Para lograr este objetivo
general, se establecieron tres objetivos específicos. En primer lugar, se buscó conocer el grado de
satisfacción laboral que mantenían los trabajadores de Logística con la empresa. Este objetivo permitió
obtener una visión general de cómo se sentían los empleados con respecto a su trabajo en la organización
del Ecuador. En segundo lugar, se tenía como objetivo identificar los factores de satisfacción laboral que
debían ser intervenidos en los trabajadores del área de logística. Este enfoque se centró en identificar los
aspectos específicos que influían en la satisfacción o insatisfacción laboral de los empleados de Logística,
con el propósito de proponer posibles mejoras. Por último, se buscó describir el factor predominante en
la satisfacción de los trabajadores del área de logística. Este objetivo se orientó hacia la identificación del
factor más influyente o determinante en la satisfacción laboral de los colaboradores, lo que podría
proporcionar información valiosa para la gestión de recursos humanos de la empresa. Se utilizaron los
datos necesarios, se utilizó el modelo de entrevista semiestructurada, que permitió a los investigadores
obtener información detallada y contextual sobre las opiniones y experiencias de los empleados.
Además, se aplicó la Escala de satisfacción general desarrollada por Warr, Cook y Wall, que proporciona
una medida cuantitativa de la satisfacción laboral.
In the present research work, a case analysis was carried out in the context of the job satisfaction of the collaborators in the Logistics area of the transport company, located in the city of Guayaquil. The general objective of this research was to determine the predominant factors that affect the job satisfaction of the employees of this department. To achieve this general objective, three specific objectives were established. Firstly, we sought to know the degree of job satisfaction that Logistics collaborators had with the company. This objective allowed us to obtain an overview of how employees felt about their work. Secondly, the objective was to identify the job satisfaction factors that should be intervened in workers in the logistics area. This approach focused on identifying the specific aspects that influenced the job satisfaction or dissatisfaction of Logistics employees, with the purpose of proposing possible improvements. Finally, we sought to describe the predominant factor in the satisfaction of workers in the logistics area. This objective was oriented towards identifying the most influential or determining factor in the job satisfaction of employees, which could provide valuable information for the company's human resources management. The necessary data was used, the semi-structured interview model was used, which allowed the researchers to obtain detailed and contextual information about the opinions and experiences of the employees. Additionally, the General Satisfaction Scale developed by Warr, Cook and Wall was applied, which provides a quantitative measure of job satisfaction.
