The success of treatment with fixed prostheses in clinical practice is directly related to proper planning and criteria which must be individualized and implemented to meet the needs of each patient, guidelines for determining a correct plan treatment. It is essential to a comprehensive, sequential treatment planning for fixed prosthodontics rehabilitation should not be independent of other disciplines of dentistry. Hasty planning, segmented, ignoring major aspects of the treatment required, challenges the modern concepts of treating the whole patient rather than individual teeth. All the factors identified through the examination should be considered when planning treatment. As an example we have a long clinical crowns, or teeth to be restored or used as pillars of prosthetic devices. Should be considered short crowns crown lengthening procedures, to which you can arrive via periodontal. It should also be paid to the pieces extruded into large edentulous spaces. Often the need to place crowns on these pieces with the aim of restoring the occlusal plane. It is not unusual for patients who require prostheses were previously effected periodontal treatment. A fixed partial denture is a means of restoring one or more missing teeth using an or more remaining teeth. Includes one or more replacement teeth (pontic) and one or more abutment teeth with retainers that is connected to the pontic
