dc.description.abstractEl cantón La Maná, ubicada en la Provincia de Cotopaxi cuenta con un centro de Salud de tipología C, la misma que acoge todo tipo de emergencias, entre ellas los politraumatismos por accidente de tránsito, cuenta con Personal de Enfermería que en su mayoría cursan su año de Rural, el manejo inicial que brinda al paciente con politraumatismos se lo realiza sin ningún proceso de planificación de cuidado, no dispone de protocolos, guías de atención y no cuentan con capacitaciones inherentes al servicio, Ante esto se realiza la investigación con el objetivo de determinar el nivel de conocimientos del Personal de Enfermería sobre el manejo inicial de pacientes con politraumatismos por accidentes de tránsito que acuden al servicio de emergencia del centro de Salud tipo C La Maná, con un enfoque cuantitativo, transversal, no experimental y analítico, el universo constituido por Personal de Enfermeras y los pacientes con traumatismos por accidentes de tránsito. Siendo la muestra las Enfermeras que laboran en el servicio de emergencia y los pacientes que ingresaron con politraumatismos en el periodo de enero a julio del 2016, se utilizaron instrumentos como encuestas y formularios 008 para la recolección de la información. Al culminar el estudio se concluye que el servicio de emergencia del Centro de Salud La Maná, no está dotado de talento humano capacitado en el manejo de este tipo de pacientes. Por lo que se propone un Plan de capacitación dirigido para el Personal de Enfermería.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe La Maná canton, located in the Province of Cotopaxi, has a Health Center of type C, the same that welcomes all types of emergencies, among them the polytrauma by traffic accident, has Nursing Personnel that mostly study their Year of Rural, the initial management that provides the patient with polytrauma is performed without any care planning process, does not have protocols, care guides and do not have training inherent to the service, Given this is done research with the objective To determine the level of knowledge of the Nursing Personnel on the initial management of patients with polytrauma due to traffic accidents who come to the emergency service of the La Maná type C health center, with a quantitative, transversal, non-experimental and analytical approach. Universe constituted by Personnel of Nurses and the patients with traumas by traffic accidents. Being the sample the Nurses who work in the emergency service and the patients who entered with polytrauma in the period from January to July of 2016, instruments were used as surveys and forms 008 for the collection of the information. At the end of the study it is concluded that the emergency service of La Maná Health Center, is not equipped with human talent trained in the management of this type of patients. Therefore, a Training Plan directed to the Nursing Personnel is proposed.es_ES
