dc.description.abstractEsta investigación tiene como finalidad realizar un análisis de la influencia del Síndrome de Burnout en el desempeño de los Auxiliares de Enfermería del Instituto de Neurociencias. El mismo puede llegar a perjudicar tanto al empleado como al servicio que ofrece la organización. Dentro del campo de la salud, el personal de Enfermería tiene la responsabilidad del cuidado directo al paciente y múltiples actividades a su cargo. Por ello, el estrés laboral es un factor importante que puede afectar el rendimiento. Esta razón sustenta la necesidad de que se genere un problema de salud como el Burnout. Teóricamente el trabajo se fundamentó en una perspectiva multidimensional del Síndrome de Burnout que integra tres componentes: agotamiento emocional, despersonalización y realización personal. El tipo de investigación que se realizó fue con un enfoque cuantitativo de alcance descriptivo, enmarcado en un diseño de campo no experimental. La población estuvo conformada por 105 trabajadores, pero se realizó con una muestra representativa de 51 auxiliares de enfermería de la unidad Hospital Psiquiátrico del Instituto de Neurociencias. La recolección de información se realizó con los instrumentos: Maslach Burnout Inventory, ficha sociodemográfica, la evaluación de desempeño utilizada por la organización y para relacionar los resultados de los instrumentos anteriores se utilizó la técnica del Focus group. El desarrollo de la investigación nos permitió analizar que las dimensiones del síndrome de burnout afectaron el desempeño son: Agotamiento Emocional con una puntuación 22, Despersonalización en un 9.75, y Realización Personal en 24.44. Estos tres resultados demuestran que el personal de Enfermería se encuentra en el inicio del desarrollo del referido síndromees_ES
dc.description.abstracthe purpose of this research is to analyze the influence of Burnout Syndrome in the performance of Nursing Assistants of the Institute of Neurosciences. It can harm both the employee as the service offered by the organization. In the field of health, the nursing staff has the responsibility for direct patient care and multiple activities to their position. Therefore, work-related stress is an important factor that can affect the performance. This reason supports the need to generate a problem of health as the Burnout. Theoretically, the work was based on a perspective multidimensional Burnout Syndrome that integrates three components: emotional exhaustion, depersonalization and personal fulfillment. The kind of research that was conducted was with a quantitative scope approach descriptive, framed in a non-experimental field design. The population consisted of 105 workers, but was carried out with a representative sample of 51 nursing assistants from the unit Psychiatric Hospital of the Neurosciences Institute. The collection of information was carried out with the instruments: Maslach Burnout Inventory, sociodemographic record, performance evaluation used by the organization and to relate the results of the previous instruments, the Focus group technique was used. The development of the research allowed us to analyze that the dimensions of the burnout syndrome affected the performance are: Exhaustion Emotional with a score 22, Depersonalization in a 9.75, and Personal Realization in 24.44. These three results show that the nursing staff is at the beginning of the development of the referral syndromees_ES
