Hipertensión arterial y su incidencia en el desempeño académico en docentes de FEDER.

Resumen
En el advenimiento del nuevo milenio, se han producido múltiples cambios en el entorno
social, familiar y educativo, la vertiginosa transformación tecnológica contribuye a
incrementar los procesos laborales y las cargas de trabajo en los docentes universitarios,
generando alta tensión laboral asociadas a la hipertensión arterial, en la actualidad, la
hipertensión arterial se la considera como una de las enfermedades crónicas degenerativas
más frecuentes, siendo un factor de riesgo para enfermedades cardiovasculares y sus
complicaciones. El presente trabajo pretende exponer la prevalencia de la hipertensión
arterial y su vinculación con el desempeño académico del docente, teniendo como objetivo
analizar la asociación existente entre hipertensión arterial y desempeño laboral por medio
del ausentismo laboral, consideradas las variables del estudio, por otra parte, la población
elegida, estuvo constituida por 50 docentes de la Facultad de Educación Física, Deportes y
Recreación (FEDER). Para calcular la muestra se aplicó la fórmula de muestras finitas,para
el planteamiento del problema y elaboración de objetivo se utilizael método científico, para
conocer la realidad de los docentes a través del método descriptivo de corte transversal, para
análisis e interpretación de resultados y plantear conclusiones con el método deductivo y
analítico, para el planteó de las recomendaciones al problema se usó el método inductivo y
por ultimo para la tabulación de resultados el método estadístico. El instrumento utilizado
fue la encuesta.
The advent of the new millennium, there have been multiple changes in the social, family and education environment; the dizzyingly rapid technological transformation contributed to increasing work processes and workloads for university teachers, producing high work stress associated with arterial hypertension. At present, arterial hypertension is considered one of the most frequent degenerative chronic diseases, being a risk factor for cardiovascular diseases and their complications. The present work aims to expose the prevalence of arterial hypertension and its correlation with the academic performance of teaching staff; the objective is to analyze the existing association between arterial hypertension and work performance through work absenteeism, considered the study variables, on the other hand the chosen population consisted of 50 teachers from the Faculty of Physical Education, Sports and Recreation (FEDER). The finite sample formula was applied for the calculation of the sample; the scientific method was used to pose the problem and develop the objective; a descriptive cross-sectional method was used to know the reality of the teachers; a deductive and analytical method was used for analysis and interpretation of results and draw conclusions; an inductive method was used to pose the recommendations; and finally a statistical method was used for tabulating the results. The instrument used was the survey.
