Resumen
Los conflictos bélicos que se han venido originando de forma sistemática en el mundo a
través de los tiempos, generalmente solo han causado dolor, angustia, tragedia y
devastación, donde las principales víctimas han sido la población civil y los combatientes
que han participado en el desarrollo de los mismos, causando en muchos de los casos
pérdidas irremediables para sus familias. En el año de 1995, Ecuador y Perú libraron un
conflicto militar que se originó cuando militares peruanos invadieron el sector del Alto
Cenepa, en un área no delimitada de la frontera. La falta de material bibliográfico sobre la
participación de muchos ex combatientes del GFE N°26 en este conflicto armado, ha
ocasionado que muchos sientan, que sus gestas heroicas en el campo de batalla se
hayan quedado en el olvido. Ante esta ausencia se inicia la investigación, para el efecto
se utilizó método deductivo y método inductivo y técnica de la encuesta y las entrevistas
que permitieron recabar información y obtener resultados que permitirán viabilizar la
propuesta de elaborar un libro memoria sobre trece ex combatientes del GFE N°26.
The warlike conflicts that have been systematically arising throughout the world have generally only caused pain, anguish, tragedy and devastation, where the main victims have been the civilian population and the combatants who have participated in the development Of them, causing in many cases irreparable losses for their families. In 1995, Ecuador and Peru fought a military conflict that originated when Peruvian military invaded the Alto Cenepa sector, in an unmarked area of the border. The lack of bibliographic material on the participation of many ex-combatants of GFE No. 26 in this armed conflict has caused many to feel that their heroic deeds on the battlefield have been forgotten. Faced with this absence, the investigation was initiated, using the deductive method and inductive method and technique of the survey and the interviews that allowed to gather information and obtain results that will allow the proposal of elaborating a book on thirteen ex-combatants of GFE N 26.
