Resumen
La presente investigación tiene el propósito de organizar el
Mesocurrículo de la Carrera de Biología Marina de acuerdo a las
asignaturas y unidades que se ajusten a cada año académico de la
Universidad Estatal Península de Santa Elena, en el periodo 2009 –
2010. En los estudiantes y egresados de la Carrera, se observó y se
evidenció que no están capacitados para la investigación científica
en el campo del conocimiento y de los procesos biológicos de
organismos marinos, que para ellos es imprescindible en su
formación profesional, esto se debe a que las asignaturas no llevan
una secuencia en su malla curricular y las unidades didácticas no se
ajustan a los requerimientos del estudiante que exige su formación
académica. La metodología aplicada en la investigación, optó la
técnica documental en el análisis de contenido que permitirá la
confiabilidad y validez del trabajo de investigación y de campo a
través de encuestas dirigidas a los estudiantes, docentes,
egresados y autoridades de la carrera de Biología Marina. Cabe
destacar que este rediseño es de suma importancia para mejorar el
perfil profesional de los egresados, ésto será soporte académico de
la institución que la ayudará a mantener su buen nivel académico en
el sector investigativo, productivo y económico de la región. Con
esta nueva estructuración del pensum, los estudiantes abrirán su
campo de acción al ser más competitivos, permitir al futuro
profesional progresar y tener éxito en el medio laboral, personal y
de contribuir con el desarrollo investigativo en la área de la Biología
Marina. Los beneficiarios de esta investigación serán los futuros
profesionales de la UPSE, que brindaran sus servicios a la
comunidad por medio de nuevos proyectos para la Provincia.
The present investigation has the intention to organize mesocurrículo of the race of Marine Biology according to the subjects and units that adjust to every academic year of the State University Peninsula of Santa Elena, in period 2009 - 2010. In the withdrawn students and of the race, I am observed and manifest which they are not enabled for the scientific research in the field of the knowledge and of the biological processes of marine organisms, for them it is essential in his professional formation, this must to that the subjects do not have been a sequence in their curricular mesh and the didactic units do not adjust to the necessities that the student for his academic formation requires. The methodology that I am applied in the investigation, I decide myself on the documentary technique in the analysis of content that will allow to the trustworthiness and validity of the work of investigation and field through survey directed to the students, educational, withdrawn and authorities of the race of Marine Biology. It is possible to emphasize that this redesign is of extreme importance to improve the professional profile of the withdrawn ones, this helped in academic support of the institution maintaining its good academic and competent level in the investigative, productive and economic sector of the region. With this new structuring of the pensum, the students will the future open to their battle area and professional more competitive being allowing progressing and being successful in labor and personal means contributing to the country with the investigative development in the area of Marine Biology. The beneficiaries of this investigation will be the professional futures of the UPSE, which offered their services towards the community by means of new projects for the Province.
