dc.description.abstractEl cantón Durán es una de las ciudades con mayor crecimiento poblacional del Ecuador, y pese a esto, la disposición de equipamientos de uso geriátrico es nula. Por tal razón se realiza la investigación de análisis contextual del cantón y de este grupo de estudio, que va de la población mayor a los 65 años, utilizando métodos de investigación científica con la finalidad de proponer un centro geriátrico que abarque las necesidades sociales, médicas y terapéuticas de esta población, enlazándolo con el entorno contextual del cantón Durán.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe Durán canton is one of the cities with the highest population growth in Ecuador, and despite this, the availability of geriatric facilities is null. Hence, a contextual analysis of the canton and the study group of interest, which ranges in the elderly population aged 65 years and over, is carried out using scientific research methods aiming to come up with a geriatric center that reaches the social, medical and therapeutic needs and requirements of this population, linking it with the contextual environment of the Durán canton.es_ES
