dc.description.abstractEn Ecuador ha habido un incremento paulatino del grado de depresión en personas con discapacidad física, en el Cantón Valencia en la Provincia de los Ríos, específicamente en el proyecto Venciendo la Discapacidad, existe igualmente un aumento de la depresión leve, en pacientes que padecen de discapacidad física, problema que es analizado en esta investigación. Se diseñó un programa terapéutico con enfoque cognitivo conductual, con el objetivo de disminuir la depresión en personas con discapacidad física, del Proyecto Venciendo la Discapacidad del Cantón Valencia, Provincia de los Ríos, Ecuador. Fue elaborado un diagnóstico psicológico para medir el grado de depresión en las personas con discapacidad física del Proyecto Venciendo la Discapacidad, y se fundamentó teóricamente el programa terapéutico con enfoque cognitivo, para disminuir la depresión en las personas con discapacidad física, del Proyecto Venciendo la Discapacidad del Cantón Valencia. Fueron definidas e investigadas como variable independiente, el Programa de intervención psicológica con enfoque cognitiva conductual, mientras que la Depresión en las personas discapacitadas físicamente del Proyecto Venciendo la Discapacidad, constituyeron la variable dependiente. Se comprobó que las personas con discapacidad física analizadas, padecen de depresión leve, en el rango de 11 a 16, lo que representa una leve perturbación del estado de ánimo, lo que demuestra la importancia de aplicar el programa de intervención psicológicaes_ES
dc.description.abstractIn Ecuador, there has been a gradual increase in the degree of depression in people with physical disabilities, in Canton Valencia in the Province of Los Ríos, specifically in the project Conquering Disability, there is also an increase in mild depression in patients suffering from Physical disability, a problem that is analyzed. A therapeutic program with a cognitive approach was designed with the objective of reducing depression in people with physical disabilities, from the Valencia Disability Project, Province of Los Ríos, Ecuador. A psychological diagnosis was made to measure the degree of depression in people with physical disabilities from the Project Conquering Disability, and the theoretical program was based on a cognitive approach to reduce depression in people with physical disabilities from the Project Conquering Disability Of Canton Valencia. The Psychological Intervention Program with a cognitive behavioral approach was defined and investigated as an independent variable, while the Depression in the physically disabled people of the Conquering Disability Project were the dependent variable. It was verified that people with physical disabilities analyzed have mild depression, ranging from 11 to 16, which represents a slight disturbance of mood, demonstrating the importance of applying the program of psychological interventiones_ES
