dc.description.abstractEl impacto producido con la aplicación de estrategias pasivas durante la temprana etapa del diseño arquitectónico, influye como factor determinante al momento de definir el grado de confort y consumo energético de una edificación. Es por eso, que el presente trabajo muestra la viabilidad de adaptar estrategias pasivas de eficiencia energética en el diseño arquitectónico de una vivienda, que considere: la interacción de los habitantes con la edificación para la definición del diseño de la vivienda y sus espacios; las características climáticas del sector para establecer las estrategias pasivas aplicables según la zona; y el uso de un programa para la simulación energética que me permita cuantificar las ventajas del uso de criterios de eficiencia energética en el diseño de una edificación frente a un diseño convencional. De esta manera se pretende mitigar los índices de consumo energético y contaminación dentro y fuera de la edificación, elevar los niveles de confort y bienestar que puede proporcionar la vivienda y aportar a un desarrollo arquitectónico-urbano sustentable para el cantón Duran.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe impact with the implementation of passive strategies during the early stage of architectural design influences like one determining factor when defining the degree of comfort and energy consumption of a building. That is why, this work shows the feasibility of adapting energy efficiency strategies in the architectural design of a home, which considers: the interaction of people with the building for the definition of the design of the house and its spaces ; the climatic characteristics of the sector to establish the passive strategies according to the zone; and the use of a program for energy simulation to quantify the advantages of using energy efficiency strategies in the design of a building compared to a conventional design. In this way, the aim is to mitigate consumption and pollution rates inside and outside the building, raise the levels of comfort and well-being that the house can provide and contribute to a sustainable urban-architectural development for the Durán city.es_ES
