Resumen
En la presente investigación determinaremos el nivel en sangre de las hormonas TSH, T3, T4, en pacientes con perfil lipídico alterado que acuden al Laboratorio Clínico "Dayana", de la localidad de Pascuales, para contribuir al diagnóstico temprano del Hipotiroidismo, en el período de enero a diciembre del 2015. Para lograr este objetivo, relacionaremos los niveles en sangre de la hormona TSH con el perfil lipídico (Niveles de colesterol total, triglicéridos) y se establecerá si existe asociación entre los valores de las hormonas T3, T4, y la TSH en los pacientes con perfil lipídico alterado y de existir, ver si tienen algún interés diagnóstico. Con este estudio lograremos establecer la importancia del valor TSH en el seguimiento cLínicode los pacientes con perfillipídico alterado, como aporte a un mejor diagnóstico de hipotiroidismo.
Se desarrollará un estudio prospectivo y observacional, no experimental. La muestra estará conformada por aquellos pacientes con perfil lipídico alterado y que tengan indicación por el médico facultativo de la determinación de TSH.
Los análisis estadísticos se realizaran usando el software: mM SPSS Statistics. La técnica estadística utilizada para tratar de encontrar posibles asociaciones significativas fue la Prueba de Independencia por Chi cuadrado para tablas de contingencia.
In the present study we determined the blood level ofthe hormone TSH, T3, T4, free T4 in patients with altered lipid profile, to contribute to the diagnosis of hypothyroidism in patients who come to the "Oayana" Clinical Laboratory, ofthe town ofPascuales, in the period from January to December 2015. To achieve this goal, we will relate blood levels of the hormone TSH with lipid profile (total cholesterol levels, HOL, LOL, triglycerides) and establish the association between values T3, T4, free T4 and TSH hormones in patients with altered lipid profile and existence, see if they have any diagnostic interest. With this study we succeed in establishing the importance of the TSH value in the clinical monitoring of patients with altered lipid profile, as a contribution to a better diagnosis of hypothyroidism. A prospective, observational, non experimental study was developed. The sample will consist of patients with altered lipid profile and have indication by the medical practitioner of TSH. Statistical analyzes were carried out using the software: IBM SPSS Statistics. The statistical technique used to try to find any significant associations was the test of independence by Chi square test for contingency tables.
