This research was conducted in the Parish Victoria Canton Salitre in Hda. Mine which was tested 4 Viability densities planting two varieties of grasses the Janeiro (Eryochloa polistachya) and Sweet grass (Brachiaria) in the parish of La Victoria Canton Salitre, where after completing fieldwork determine the following respective results. The grass Janeiro (Eryochloa polistachya) outperformed that the Sweet grass (Brachiaria) with respect to yields 3,125 Kg / Ha, the adaptability to the environment, it is important to note this grass is distributed mainly found on the coast Ecuadorian floodplain provinces of Guayas and Los Rios. Sweet Grass (Brachiaria), not stand waterlogging for a long time, which makes it not suitable for the floodplain Guayas River basin. Also during the field trial presented many problems in the establishment, possibly due to the type of soil present where the trial was established which corresponds to silty clayey texture since this grass prefers a texture Franco. Regarding different planting distances that were used in this the distance work presented the best results for grass Janeiro (Eryochloa polistachya) was 40 cm. x 80 cm. regarding yields, however worth to note that the control plot 29,850 Kg. / Ha. / Year interesting results in the establishment of pasture in this area, the plant material it distributes a broadcast, then the farmer is going treading which is achieved bury, is a very practical method used to save time and wages. 46 For the farmer the Ecuadorian coast is imperative to find alternatives new varieties and improve existing grass as it depends on the productivity of any herd.
