Resumen
El objetivo de esta tesis es determinar y mejorar los procedimientos aplicados de
seguridad e higiene industrial de la empresa TELEREPUESTOS S .A. para lo cual
se realizaron entrevistas a los miembros Ejecutivos, personal técnico y
trabajadores de la Empresa obteniendo la información de lo que en la compañía se
maneja sobre los aspectos de la Seguridad e Higiene Industrial y que suelen
afectar a la salud de los trabajadores y la productividad de la Empresa. Se ha
realizado una investigación adecuada utilizando una bibliografía técnica. Se
investigó información referente al Reglamento General de Riesgos del Trabajo,
Reglamento de Seguridad y Salud de los Trabajadores y Medio Ambiente de
Trabajo permitiendo con esto diagnosticar como se encuentra la empresa. La
aplicación del diagrama causa- efecto determinó entre los problemas las causas
probables que generan los accidentes de trabajo y enfermedades profesionales; la
aplicación del Método Fine permitió efectuar la evaluación del grado de
peligrosidad del riesgo existente en las áreas de trabajo; así mismo mediante el
Método de Gretener se pudo diagnosticar los riesgos de incendio que puedan
ocurrir en la empresa TELEREPUESTOS S. A. La Empresa cuenta con un comité
de seguridad e higiene de trabajo y es la encargada de, hacer cumplir las normas y
disposiciones relacionadas con la seguridad e higiene industrial parte de su trabajo
se centra principalmente en la capacitación del personal por desconocimiento que
tiene sobre las normas de seguridad e higiene industrial, riesgos de electrocución,
riesgos de caídas a causas de la mala utilización de escaleras, la no utilización del
Arnés, fajas de Lumbago, etc. La inversión de la empresa para la Seguridad e
Higiene Industrial del año 2007 es de 8,640.00 dólares. La propuesta para la
solución de los problemas del año 2008 es de 7,632.15 dólares. El costo de la
propuesta se analizó mediante la relación Costo-Beneficio el cual indicó que es
factible dar cumplimiento con la propuesta de manera favorable.
