Evaluación agronómica de cuatro híbridos de maíz duro seco Zea mays L. en la Zona El Triunfo de la provincia Guayas

| dc.description.abstract | La investigación se realizó en la Granja Experimental “Vainillo” de la Facultad de Ciencias Agrarias de la Universidad de Guayaquil, ubicada en el km 48 vía Durán – Tambo, cantón El Triunfo, provincia del Guayas. El ensayo se llevó a cabo en la época seca del año 2015, se evaluaron cuatro híbridos, dos nacionales el INIAP H-551, el INIAP H-553 y dos de importación el TRUENO NB-7443, el AGRI-104. El ensayo se realizó con los siguientes objetivos: a) Determinar el comportamiento agronómico de cuatro híbridos de maíz. b) Indicar el híbrido de mejor rendimiento para la zona. c) Realizar un análisis económico de los tratamientos en estudio. Se utilizó el diseño completamente aleatorizado (DCA) con 4 tratamientos y 4 repeticiones. Se utilizó el método análisis de varianza para la determinación de las diferencias estadísticas entre los tratamientos. Las comparaciones de las medias de los tratamientos fueron efectuadas con la prueba de rangos múltiples de Tukey al 5 % de probabilidades. Por los resultados obtenidos se llegó a las siguientes conclusiones: 1) Los híbridos INIAP H-551 e INIAP H-553 fueron los más precoces en días a la floración masculina y femenina. 2) El genotipo AGRI-104 mostró el mejor peso promedio de la mazorca. 3) El mejor promedio de peso de 1000 granos se obtuvo con el cultivar INIAP H-551. 4) Los mayores promedios de altura de inserción de la mazorca se presentaron en los genotipos TRUENO NB-7443 y AGRI-104. 5) Los cultivares AGRI-104 e INIAP H-551 presentaron los promedios de longitud de mazorca más altos. 6) Los promedios de rendimientos de granos fueron superiores en los genotipos TRUENO NB-7443 y AGRI-104. 7) En el híbrido TRUENO NB-7443 se observó la mayor tasa de retorno marginal. | es_ES |
| dc.description.abstract | The research was conducted at the Experimental Farm "Vainillo" of the Faculty of Agricultural Sciences at the University of Guayaquil, located at km 48 via Duran - Tambo, El Triunfo canton, Guayas province. The test was carried out in the dry season of 2015, four hybrids were evaluated, two national INIAP H-551, INIAP H-553 and two import the TRUENO NB-7443, the AGRI-104. The trial was conducted with the following objectives: a) Determine the agronomic performance of four corn hybrids. b) Provide the best performance hybrid for the area. c) Conduct an economic analysis of the treatments under study. The completely randomized design (CRD) with 4 treatments and 4 replications. Analysis of variance method for determining the statistical differences between treatments was used. Comparisons of treatment means were made with the multiple range test of Tukey at 5% probability. By the results it was reached the following conclusions: 1) INIAP H-551 and INIAP H-553 hybrids were in the earliest days male and female flowering. 2) The AGRI-104 genotype showed the best average weight of the cob. 3) The best average weight of 1000 grains was obtained with the cultivar INIAP H- 551. 4) The highest average height of insertion of ear were presented in genotypes THUNDER NB-7443 and AGRI-104. 5) AGRI-104 and INIAP H-551 averages cultivars had higher ear length. 6) The average grain yields were higher in genotypes TRUENO NB-7443 and AGRI-104. 7) In the hybrid TRUENO NB-7443 the highest marginal return rate was observed. | es_ES |
