dc.description.abstract	La empresa JV&H dedicada a importar y distribuir empaques y envolturas para la industria alimenticia y farmacéutica, por problemas surgidos a causa de las regulaciones aduaneras en Ecuador, realizo un emprendimiento como fabricante de algunas líneas de productos, por ende incremento su plantilla de personal en forma significativa, por lo tanto necesita medir el rendimiento y desempeño de sus colaboradores, ya que las personas tienen una incidencia directa con la eficiencia y productividad de la empresa, ante esta situación se estableció como objetivo del presente estudio, evaluar las herramientas y metodologías de evaluación de rendimiento y desempeño del personal, este estudio es cualitativo y utilizo el método deductivo, aplicando encuestas anónimas y entrevistas con personas y áreas claves de la empresa, destacándose entre los principales resultados que más de la mitad de las personas encuestadas no conocen o conocen poco los objetivos, presupuesto y los gastos reales de la empresa, más del 80% de las personas encuestadas realizan a veces tareas que no corresponden al cargo que desempeñan, solo la mitad de los encuestados indico haber recibido retroalimentación de su jefe, solo unas pocas personas encuestadas afirman que se cumplen los plazos para recepción de información dentro de la empresa. Como novedad científica se espera que la aplicación de una herramienta de rendimiento y desempeño expuesta por autores conocedores del tema, permita alcanzar el objetivo de este estudio y que a su vez otras empresas del sector se motiven a la aplicación de estas herramientas.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	JV&H Corporation, a business dedicated to import and distribute packaging for pharmaceutical and food industry, due to problems that appeared because of custom regulations in Ecuador, began an entrepreneurship as a manufacturer of this kind of products, for this reason the staff of the company increased in a significant way, therefore JV&H needs to measure the performance of the employees, because the people have a direct impact on the efficiency and productivity of the company, with this situation, it was established as an objective of this study to evaluate the tools and the methodology of evaluation of achievement and performance of the staff, this qualitative study used deductive method, applying anonymous surveys and interviews with important persons of the company, as a highlight of the most relevant results of the investigation, shows that more than a half of the people surveyed don’t know anything or just a few about the objectives, budget and the expenses of the business, more than 80% of people surveyed do things that have no relation with their charges that they have in the company, just the half of surveyed told that they have received a feedback of their boss, a few people surveyed says that the deadlines are fulfilled for the reception of the information in the company, as a scientific novelty it is expected that the application of this tool of achievement and performance exposed by relevant authors, will let reach the objective of this study and also motivate another companies to apply this tools.	es_ES
