dc.description.abstractAntecedentes: El trastorno psicótico agudo transitorio es una patología que implica el inicio súbito de síntomas psicóticos y alteración grave del comportamiento habitual del paciente que se desarrolla en días a semanas y tiene duración habitual de pocos días a un mes. Objetivo: Correlacionar los factores individuales y sociales desencadenantes para la aparición de trastorno psicótico agudo transitorio en los pacientes ingresados en el Instituto de Neurociencias. Metodología: Se trata de un estudio retrospectivo, descriptivo de corte transversal, de tipo analítico-correlacional que se realizará con el análisis de los expedientes de la población de pacientes hospitalizados con diagnóstico de Trastorno Psicótico Agudo Transitorio en el Instituto de Neurociencias del 1 de enero 2019 al 31 de diciembre de 2021. Se incluirán todos los expedientes de pacientes que cumplan con los criterios de inclusión y para el análisis de asociación entre las variables cualitativas se realizará prueba de Chi-Cuadrada, las variables cuantitativas serán evaluadas mediante prueba Mann-Whitney U en caso de ser paramétricas o mediante prueba T si la distribución es normal, con significancia estadística establecida por un valor p <0.05 e IC del 95%. Resultados esperados: Se espera identificar los factores de riesgo individuales y sociales en los pacientes con TPAP. Palabras clave: Trastorno Psicótico Agudo y Transitorio, síntomas psicóticoses_ES
dc.description.abstractIntroduction: Acute and transient psychotic disorder (ATPD) is a pathology that involves the sudden onset of psychotic symptoms and severe alteration of the patient's usual behavior that develops over days to weeks and usually lasts from a few days to one month. Objective: To determine the correlation between individual and social triggering factors for the appearance of acute and transient psychotic disorder in patients admitted to the Institute of Neurosciences. Methodology: This is a descriptive, cross-sectional, analytical-correlational study that will be carried out with the study of files of the population of patients hospitalized with a diagnosis of Acute Transient Psychotic Disorder at the Institute of Neurosciences from January 1st, 2019 to December 31st 2021. All patient files that meet the inclusion criteria will be included, for the analysis of association between qualitative variables, a Chi-Square test will be performed, the quantitative variables will be evaluated using the Mann-Whitney U test in case of be parametric or by T test if the distribution is normal, with statistical significance established by a P value <0.05 and 95% IC.
