Resumen
Para las organizaciones e instituciones en general de hoy en día la seguridad de
la información se ha convertido en un aspecto primordial en las redes datos;
protegiendo de esta manera los recursos tecnológicos y la información. Es por
esta razón que, a la Universidad de Guayaquil (en su Ciudadela Salvador Allende
incluyendo sus facultades) le beneficiaría tomar en consideración el Diseño de
Arquitectura de Seguridad propuesto para su red de datos que permita la correcta
administración y control de su información y recursos tecnológicos que benefician,
facilitan y aportan al trabajo de los docentes y personal administrativo, sin olvidar
las bondades que traen los mismos al estudiantado. Para este proyecto se utilizó
la modalidad de investigación bibliográfica, descriptiva y exploratoria, realizando
encuestas al personal administrativo de TI y a los estudiantes de la Universidad
de Guayaquil. Con esta propuesta se busca aportar al avance tecnológico en el
área de las TIC's y a fortalecer falencias en lo que a seguridad de la información
se refiere, todo esto basado en estándares y lineamientos que ayudarán a
establecer controles de seguridad y a seleccionar y mantener correctamente los
mecanismos de seguridad en función a las necesidades de la institución, que a su
vez, mitiga las amenazas y vulnerabilidades, brinda una solución inmediata y
sistemática a los impactos y disminuye los riesgos con lo cual resulta beneficiada
la comunidad educativa de la Ciudadela Universitaria Salvador Allende.
Nowadays, information has become an important concern for organizations and institutions in general, especially when it comes into consideration data networks. This guarantees the protection of technologic resources. Therefore, the University of Guayaquil (inside the Salvador Allende Campus including all its faculties) should analyze the proposal of the design of architecture security for its data network in order to improve the management and control of information of services offered and the technological resources. This, it would benefit and facilitate the work of teachers and administrative staff and, of course, to students in general. For this project the form of literature, descriptive and exploratory research is used, conducting surveys IT administrative staff and students of the University of Guayaquil. This proposal looks after the improvement of the use of ICT and the strengthening of weaknesses related to the security of information based on standards and guidelines that will help to establish security controls and select and to correctly maintain the security mechanisms according to the needs of the institution, which in turn mitigates threats and vulnerabilities provides immediate and systematic impact solution and lowers risk that will benefit to all the educative community.
