Resumen
En el presente estudio se concibió la necesidad de analizar la incidencia del abuso sexual en la autoestima de adolescentes víctimas de abuso sexual, que reciben asistencia y protección de la Fiscalía de Manabí, 2015. Planteando como objetivo, relacionar el tipo de abuso sexual con los niveles de la autoestima de los adolescentes que reciben protección y asistencia de la Fiscalía de Manabí de mayo a julio de 2015. Así, inicialmentese desarrollaron los epígrafes abuso sexual y la autoestima en la etapa de la adolescencia. El estudio investigativotuvo un enfoque cuantitativo, guiado por una metodología que permitió investigar la autoestima en adolescentes afectados por el
abuso sexual. Se utilizaron como instrumentos, la escala de autoestima de Rosenberg para identificar el nivel de autoestima en la población, conformada por 80 adolescentesvíctimas de abuso sexual y, el formulario único de solicitud de ingreso al Sistema de Protección y Asistencia a Víctimas y Testigos de la Fiscalía para clasificar los tipos de abuso sexual sufridos. En los resultados, se comprobó la hipótesis planteada inicialmente: la relación entre los tipos de abuso y los niveles de autoestima en
adolescentes víctimas de abuso sexual que reciben protección y asistencia de la Fiscalía de Manabí, es significativa. Incidiendo con más frecuenciay con mayor impacto sobre la autoestima, el tipo de abuso sexual por contacto físico.Se recomendó el fortalecimiento de la autoestima con técnicas psicoterapéuticas que permitan la prevención de conductas de riesgo en adolescentes.
In the present study was the need to analyse the incidence of sexual abuse in the selfesteem of adolescent victims of sexual abuse, which are receiving assistance and protection of the Manabi's Public Prosecutor, 2015. Posing as objective, to relate the type of sexual abuse with the levels of self-esteem of adolescents who receive protection and assistance in the prosecution of Manabi from May to July 2015. So, initially the headings sexual abuse and self-esteem were developed at the stage of adolescence. The research study had a quantitative approach, guided by a methodology that allowed research about of self-esteem in adolescents affected by sexual abuse. They were used as instruments, the self-esteem scale from Rosenberg to identify the level of self-esteem in the population, which are comprised by 80 adolescents victims of sexual abuse, and the unique form of application for admission to the System of Protection and Assistance to Victims and Witnesses of the Prosecutor's Office of Manabi to classify the types of sexual abuse suffered. In the results, it was found the hypothesis raised initially: "the relationship between the types of abuse and levels of self-esteem in adolescent victims of sexual abuse who receive protection and assistance from the Public Prosecutor of Manabi, is significant". Focusing more frequently and with greater impact on the self-esteem, the type of sexual abuse by physical contact. It was recommended the strengthening of self-esteem with psychotherapeutic techniques that enable the prevention of risk behaviours in adolescents.
