dc.description.abstract	Con el propósito de realizar una caracterización del funcionamiento cognitivo en cuanto a la atención y memoria, se evaluó a una población de 14 personas entre niños y niñas de 7 a 10 años que asistían a fundación Nurtac, la misma que no ha sido evaluada en ningún aspecto; a fin de obtener información con datos reales para posteriores intervenciones. Fue importante para la investigación, determinar el rango y describir las características de los procesos de atención y memoria, los mismos que fueron evaluados con la implementación de varios instrumentos psicológicos, tales como, test Neuropsi, test Caras –Revisado y un subtest “aprendizaje de palabras” tomado de la Batería de Luria-DNI. Se llevó a cabo éste proyecto de investigación con un enfoque cuantitativo, de tipo no experimental, con un diseño transversal, de tipo descriptivo. Los análisis estadísticos refieren una alteración severa, en cuanto al funcionamiento de la atención y la memoria de manera general; en el caso de la atención se pudo apreciar un nivel bajo; así mismo en referencia a la memoria se obtuvo estadísticamente en su evaluación, una dificultad en este proceso, no logrando alcanzar alguna diferencia significativa. Se discutieron los resultados en función de variables intervinientes que podrían relacionarse o contraponerse con la investigación	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	With the purpose of carrying out a characterization of cognitive functioning in terms of attention and memory, a population of 14 people among children aged 7 to 10 attending the Nurtac Foundation was evaluated, which has not been evaluated in any way appearance; In order to obtain information with real data for subsequent interventions. It was important for the investigation, to determine the range and to describe the characteristics of the attention and memory processes, the same ones that were evaluated with the implementation of several psychological instruments, such as, Neuropsi test, Caras-Revised test and a subtest "learning of words "taken from the Battery of Luria-DNI. This research project was carried out with a quantitative approach, of a non-experimental type, with a transversal design, of a descriptive type. The statistical analyzes refer to a severe alteration, in terms of the functioning of attention and memory in general; in the case of care, a low level could be seen; likewise, in reference to the memory, a difficulty in this process was obtained statistically in its evaluation, not achieving any significant difference.
