Resumen
Este trabajo de investigación se centra en la reutilización del Edificio Patrimonial Ex SRI ubicado en la ciudad de Guayaquil, provincia del Guayas, destinado a cumplir funciones de servicios bancarios y gubernamentales. Actualmente la edificación forma parte de la extensión del campus de la Universidad de Las Artes, por ende, cambió su uso y función dentro del ámbito académico - educación superior, en beneficio de futuros artistas-profesionales de la carrera de artes visuales y carreras a fines que se desarrollaran dentro del mismo establecimiento. Por consiguiente, se propone llevar a cabo una propuesta interiorista dentro de la categoría de renovación arquitectónica, según Coles Jhon, este principio se basa en modificar lo existente o cambiar elementos en deterioro, planteando ambientes modernos y actualizados. Mediante el análisis de problemática, es necesario establecer espacios adecuados para los estudiantes de la U Artes, en el que puedan desarrollar sus actividades académicas, por lo cual se realizaron entrevistas planteadas en el marco teórico a directivos de la carrera de Artes Visuales, junto al Departamento de Infraestructura, con el fin de conocer los requerimientos y condiciones de los espacios a implementar en la reutilización de este edificio.
Mediante esta intervención interiorista se busca otorgarle prestigio a esta edificación y darle una nueva imagen, siendo recuperada y puesta al servicio de la comunidad universitaria y la sociedad.
This research work focuses on the study of the Patrimonial Building Ex SRI located in the city of Guayaquil, province of Guayas. Said building is part of the extension of the campus of the University of the Arts, therefore, its use and function are aligned with the academic field, higher education for the benefit of future artists and professionals of the visual arts career and other careers for purposes that took place within the same establishment. Therefore, it is proposed to carry out the development of an interior design proposal within the context of reuse, heritage and architectural renovation, for this site, in which, through the analysis of problems, the need to find adequate spaces for the students of the university is found. U arts in which they can develop their academic activities, for which interviews were carried out within the theoretical framework with directors of the Visual Arts career and the university in order to know the requirements for the spaces to be located in this building that will be reused. Through this interior design intervention, the aim is to promote this prestigious building and give it a new image, by being recovered and put at the service of the university community and society.
