Resumen
Los medicamentos son sustancias que contribuyen eficazmente en el control de múltiples enfermedades, los mismos no se encuentran exentos de generar respuestas contraproducentes, las cuales deben ser notificadas en los sistemas de FV. La presente investigación se desarrolló con el objetivo de determinar la importancia de la farmacovigilancia en los sistemas sanitarios mediante el desarrollo de una revisión bibliográfica. La metodología aborda un enfoque cualitativo, modalidad básica y tipo descriptivo. Posterior a la revisión y análisis de un conjunto de artículos, se identificó que el rol principal de los profesionales sanitarios en la FV refiere a la notificación de las RAM, logrando que el éxito o fracaso del sistema derive de su participación y compromiso. Dentro de las barreras que limitan la notificación de los eventos adversos se encuentra la ignorancia sobre la FV y RAM, la inseguridad, la indiferencia, falta de interés, conciencia, tiempo y educación continua sobre ambas temáticas. En definitiva, el proceso de notificación implica el uso de dos tarjetas; la amarilla para el reporte de las RAM, EM y FT; y, la blanca para las ESAVI. Posterior al registro de la información, la misma puede enviarse a través del sistema E-reporting o por correo electrónico bajo la transmisión de datos XML. En conclusión, la importancia de la FV en el área de salud reside en la mejora de la salud de los pacientes y comunidad en general acerca del uso efectivo y seguro de los medicamentos.
Medications are substances that effectively contribute to the control of multiple diseases, they are not exempt from generating counterproductive responses, which must be notified in the PV systems. This research was developed with the objective of determining the importance of pharmacovigilance in health systems through the development of a bibliographic review. The methodology addresses a qualitative approach, basic modality, and descriptive type. After analyzing a set of articles, it was identified that the main role of health professionals in VF refers to the notification of ADRs, achieving that the success or failure of the system derives from their participation and commitment. Among the barriers that limit the notification of adverse events are ignorance about VF and ADR, insecurity, indifference, lack of interest, awareness, time, and continuing education on both topics. Ultimately, the notification process involves the use of two cards; the yellow one for the report of the RAM, EM, and FT; and the white one for the ESAVIs. After registering the information, it can be sent through the E-reporting system or by email under the transmission of XML data. In conclusion, the importance of VF in the health area lies in improving the health of patients and the community in general regarding the effective and safe use of drugs.
