dc.description.abstract	El presente estudio se realizó en el Hospital de la Policía Nacional No. 2 de la ciudad de Guayaquil, se tomó en consideración para el estudio a las mujeres que llegaron al área de psicología por presentar problemas en sus relaciones de pareja. El objetivo general del estudio es determinar las características psicosociales de mujeres en conflicto conyugal. El tipo de estudio es descriptivo cualitativo, se escogió a tres mujeres que llegaron a consulta psicológica, se utilizaron los métodos clínico, narrativo y sistemático. Entre los instrumentos y técnicas utilizadas están la entrevista semi-estructurada, el inventario de autoestima de Coopersmith, La Escala Auto aplicada de Depresión de Zung y el Test HTP (casa, árbol y personas por sus siglas en ingles). Los resultados evidencian que, el conflicto por el cual estas mujeres asistían al área de psicología era por la infidelidad de parte de sus parejas. Entre las características familiares son el vivir por lo menos con un hijo y que este sea menor de edad. Su familia es de tipología nuclear. Las expectativas era mantener el vínculo amoroso con su pareja. En cuanto a su estado psico-emocional, presentaban un nivel bajo de depresión, inconformidad en sí misma, sentirse presionas por su entorno familiar	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	The present study was carried out in the National Police Hospital No. 2 of the city of Guayaquil. The study of the women who arrived in the psychology area due to problems in their relationship was taken into consideration for the study. The general objective of the study is to determine the psychosocial characteristics of women in conjugal conflict. The type of study is qualitative descriptive, three women were chosen who came to psychological consultation, the clinical, narrative and systematic methods were used. Among the instruments and techniques used are the semi-structured interview, the Coopersmith self-esteem inventory, the Zung Depression Self-Applied Scale and the HTP Test (house, tree and people for its acronym in English). The results show that, the conflict for which these women attended the area of psychology was due to infidelity on the part of their partners. Among the family characteristics are living with at least one child and that this is a minor. His family is of nuclear type. The expectations were to maintain the loving bond with their partner. Regarding their psycho-emotional state, they had a low level of depression, nonconformity in themselves, feeling pressured by their family environment	es_ES
