In the world daily notice thousands of infections and diseases in Ecuador known many epidemics and highlights much one that appears periodically, this disease is called dengue, which is a critical character epidemic not only in Ecuador but in many countries. Dengue disease is taken as an impact, emphasizing the winter season in which spreads faster causal agent. Which is a mosquito, a disease that is transmitted from an animal agent a human factor. In that infected human, important characteristics were presented to determine infection. As are the signs, symptoms, which will give the necessary evidence to determine what kind of disease the patient suffers because there are different types of dengue. The present study was made to determine the epidemiological pattern of dengue in the Health Area No. 9 of the City of Guayaquil, occurring more in women and in children <10 years, the universe consisted of all patients reported febrile syndrome caused by non-specific and whose IgM (dengue) on the 5th day of onset of symptoms was found reactive constituted the sample being seropositive patients. Once the sample was observed analyze the evolution and behavior of disease study leading toward a preventive approach to decrease the prevalence of this disease with a prevalence lower at study end 31, 50% reducing to 25.5% in a year of preventive control of the study population.
