dc.description.abstract	Se realizo una investigación que tiene como objetivo analizar la calidad de vida de las personas infectadas con VIH que reciben tratamiento con antirretrovirales. Esta investigación se fundamenta en el modelo cualitativo, es de tipo fenomenológica, y con enfoque descriptivo en la cual participaron siete personas infectadas con VIH que reciben tratamiento con antirretrovirales que son aliados de la “Fundación Alianza Igualitaria” de la ciudad de Guayaquil. A estas personas se les dio a conocer la entrevista previamente con la firma del consentimiento informado. En los resultados obtenidos se evidencia que para los informantes claves, la calidad de vida es como un estilo de vida en donde se interrelaciona el bienestar y autocuidado, en relación con el bienestar físico, psicológico y social se destaca el padecimiento de cansancio, falta de apoyo familiar y mantener amistades por el diagnóstico; en cuanto a cualidades positivas del tratamiento antirretroviral tenemos la tolerancia a la medicación, y su gratuidad; y en cuanto a cualidades negativas se destaca la necesidad farmacológica, y ansiedad. Por lo tanto, se concluye que la calidad de vida de estas personas refleja positivismo, permitiéndoles mejor control y estilo de vida, ya que tienen la oportunidad de sobrellevar una enfermedad como personas en proceso de recuperación y ven su vida en mejoría continua.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	An investigation was carried out that aims to analyze the quality of life of people infected with HIV who receive treatment with antiretrovirals. This research is based on the qualitative model, it is of a phenomenological type, and with a descriptive approach in which seven HIV-infected people who receive treatment with antiretrovirals who are allies of the "Egalitarian Alliance Foundation" of the city of Guayaquil participated. These people were informed of the interview previously with the signing of the informed consent. In the results obtained, it is evident that for the key informants, quality of life is like a lifestyle where well-being and self-care are interrelated, in relation to physical, psychological and social well-being, the suffering of fatigue, lack of family support and friendships because of the diagnosis; In terms of positive qualities of antiretroviral treatment, we have tolerance to medication, and its free nature; and in terms of negative qualities, pharmacological need and anxiety stand out. Therefore, it is concluded that the quality of life of these people reflects positivism, allowing them better control and lifestyle, since they can cope with a disease as people in the process of recovery and see their life in continuous improvement.	es_ES
