dc.description.abstractEste proyecto investigativo tuvo como objetivo el análisis de los instrumentos de evaluación de la autoestima de los adultos mayores de la fundación NURTAC, Durán. Comprendiendo los meses, de mayo hasta agosto del 2018. Mediante el cual se trató indagar sobre ¿Cuáles son los instrumentos o técnicas de evaluación más pertinentes para la valoración de la autoestima en los adultos mayores?, se trabajó con una población de 8 participantes que comprenden las edades entre 65 hasta los 85 años, sin deterioro cognitivo, ya que ellos son la población más apta para llevar a cabo este procedimiento, puesto que se necesitaba obtener información relevante a través de test, pruebas experimentales, entrevistas semiestructuradas, registros de observación, entre otros. La finalidad de este trabajo investigativo es el estudio de los instrumentos y técnicas más pertinentes que sirven para evaluar la autoestima en los adultos mayores. La metodología empleada para este proceso de sistematización fue desde el enfoque cualitativo, con alcances descriptivos de tipo transversal. La importancia de este estudio es que también responde a una de las necesidades de las líneas de investigación de la facultad de ciencias psicológicas que se declara como: psicología de la salud, neurociencias cognitivas y del comportamiento. Como futuros profesionales en psicología, debemos estar en constante preparación para actualizar nuestros conocimientos, para poder valorar críticamente la información procedente de textos científicos e instrumentos profesionales relacionados con el campo de la psicologíaes_ES
dc.description.abstractThis research project aimed to study the instruments of evaluation of the self-esteem of the elderly of the foundation NURTAC, Durán. During the months from May to August of 2018. By means of which it was tried to inquire on Which are the instruments or techniques of evaluation more pertinent for the valuation of the self-esteem in the greater adults? We worked with a population of 8 participants that included ages between 65 and 85 years old, without cognitive impairment, since they are the most suitable population to carry out this procedure, since it was necessary to obtain relevant information through tests, experimental tests, semi-structured interviews, observation records, among others. The purpose of this research work is the study of the most relevant instruments and techniques that serve to assess self-esteem in older adults. The methodology used for this systematization process was from the qualitative approach, with transversal descriptive scopes. The importance of this study is that it also responds to one of the needs of the research lines of the faculty of psychological sciences that is declared as: health psychology, cognitive and behavioral neurosciences. As future professionals in psychology, we must be in constant preparation to update our knowledge, to be able to critically evaluate the information coming from scientific texts and professional instruments related to the field of psychologyes_ES
