dc.description.abstractLa recolección de desechos sólidos en el Cantón Eloy Alfaro-Durán es un reto para la administración pública, debido a que no existe una cultura ecológica, siendo un daño que provoca graves consecuencias como inundaciones, contaminación al medio ambiente y lo más importante, atenta contra la salud de aquellos ciudadanos que habitan en la Ciudadela de El Recreo. Por ello, se pretende dar a conocer la problemática de la contaminación que posee dicha comunidad, y las diferentes alternativas para la disposición de los desechos para lo que se realizó un análisis del sector, estudiando los daños, organizando y estableciendo métodos para establecer conciencia en los residentes, para poder fomentar una correcta recolección de los residuos sólidos que contribuya de alguna forma con la disminución de la contaminación de este lugar; se propone un programa pertinente con actividades puntuales en las fases más críticas del manejo interno de estos residuos. Para la ejecución del presente proyecto tomaremos en cuenta el tercer objetivo del Plan nacional de buen vivir, el cual específica “Mejorar la calidad de vida de la población”. La metodología usada es documental en base a estadísticas del INEC (Instituto Nacional de Censos y Estadísticas), informes periodísticos, con investigación de campo. Los resultados obtenidos demuestran que los habitantes no han hecho conciencia sobre el cuidado al medio ambiente y que cuentan con la disposición para cambiar sus hábitos.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe collection of solid waste in the Canton Eloy Alfaro-Durán is a challenge for public administration, because there is no ecological culture, being a damage that causes serious consequences such as floods, pollution to the environment and most importantly, undermines the health of those citizens who live in the Ciudadela de El Recreo. Therefore, it is intended to publicize the problem of pollution that has that community, and the different alternatives for the disposal of waste for which an analysis of the sector was made, studying the damage, organizing and establishing methods to establish awareness in the residents, to be able to encourage a correct collection of solid waste that contributes in some way with the reduction of the contamination of this place; a pertinent program is proposed with specific activities in the most critical phases of the internal management of this waste. For the execution of this project we will take into account the third objective of the National Plan of Good Living, which specifically "Improve the quality of life of the population." The methodology used is documentary based on statistics from the INEC (National Institute of Census and Statistics), journalistic reports, with field research. The results obtained show that the inhabitants have not been aware of the care for the environment and that they have the disposition to change their habits.es_ES
