dc.description.abstractEste trabajo cuya modalidad es Análisis de Caso, se lo realizó en la escuela de Educación General Básica Particular Ciudad Alfaro teniendo como objetivo general el de identificar la relación que existe entre motivación y el rendimiento escolar. Uno de los objetivos específicos que se cumplió fue el de describir los aspectos motivacionales que incidieron en el rendimiento de los estudiantes del Octavo Grado de la escuela Ciudad Alfaro. La metodología fue cualitativa, de tipo descriptiva. Se aplicaron técnicas proyectivas como frases incompletas, composiciones, técnica de los 10 deseos y a la par, se contó con resultados del test de matrices progresivas de Raven con la finalidad de descartar la existencia de necesidades educativas especiales, por un lado; y por último se aplicó el test de inteligencia múltiple de Howard Gardner. Como resultados de esta investigación se pudo detectar un bajo rendimiento escolar, como consecuencia de un bajo nivel motivacionales_ES
dc.description.abstractThis work, whose modality is Case Analysis, was carried out in the General Basic Education School of Ciudad Alfaro, with the general objective of identifying the relationship between motivation and school performance. One of the specific objectives that was fulfilled was to describe the motivational aspects that affected the performance of the 8th grade students of the Ciudad Alfaro school. The methodology was qualitative, descriptive in nature. Projective techniques were applied as incomplete sentences, compositions, the 10 wishes technique and at the same time, results of the Raven progressive matrices test were counted in order to rule out the existence of special educational needs, on the one hand; and finally, Howard Gardner's multiple intelligence test was applied. As a result of this investigation, a low school performance could be detected, as a consequence of a low motivational leveles_ES
