Resumen
El presente trabajo investigativo nos dio a conocer las causas más comunes que inducen al fracaso al momento de realizar un retratamiento, conocer y actuar de forma correcta e inmediata para tratarlas y resolver el accidente endodóntico que se haya presentado. De los resultados obtenidos en nuestro trabajo los principales motivos del retratamiento, fueron la filtración coronaria, ya presentaban material provisional y no el sellado coronario definitivo lo que provoco la filtración en la misma, la instrumentación apical insuficiente ya que queda barrillo dentinario dentro del conducto y al no irrigar correctamente conductos principales y laterales y eliminar cualquier resto pulpar induce a la formación de estados patológicos periapicales. Entre los resultados que se dieron de nuestra investigación luego de realizar el retratamiento predomino el éxito del mismo en un 90 %. Como conclusión llegamos a que todo retratamiento no tendrá el 100 % de éxito pero si un 70 a 80 % favorable si realizamos un correcto tratamiento, analizando y tratando la anomalía con la que se presenta la pieza dentaria
