dc.description.abstract	La sífilis congénita es una enfermedad infecciosa de trasmisión transplacentaria causada por el Treponema pallidun las manifestaciones clínicas en el neonato dependerán de diferentes factores como el estadio de la sífilis materna, la edad gestacional, tratamiento materno y respuesta inmunológica del feto. El objetivo de esta investigación fue determinar las manifestaciones clínicas, efectos y secuelas en neonatos con Sífilis Congénita en el Hospital Gineco-Obstétrico Universitario en el año 2019. La metodología utilizada fue de tipo cuantitativo, no experimental, retrospectivo y trasversal. Los resultados de este estudio son: la hepatomegalia con el 57% y el exantema maculopapular con el 51% como principales manifestaciones clínicas, con predominio del género masculino es del 53%, presentando un peso adecuado para su edad gestacional el 87%, los neonatos nacieron en la semana 38 en un 51%, las gestantes se realizaron de 5 a 6 controles prenatales con el 31%, es importante señalar, que recibieron o no, 1 a 2 dosis de tratamiento representa un 53% y la Conclusión de esta investigación es que los neonatos presentaran menos manifestaciones clínicas mientras tengan un diagnóstico precoz durante el embarazo y sí la gestante recibe un tratamiento oportuno.	es_ES
dc.description.abstract	Syphilis is a infectious disease, which is transmitted through the placenta and is caused by Treponema pallidum. The clinical manifestations in the newborn will depend on differents factors such as the stage of the disease in the mother, the gestational age, the treatment that the mother received and the inmunological answer of the baby. The objective of this research was to determine the clinicals manifestations, effects, and sequelaes in newborns diagnosed with Congenital syphilis at the University gynecological-obstetric Hospital in 2019. The methodology used was quantitative, non-experimental, retrospective and transversal. The results of this study are: hepatomegaly with 57% and maculopapular rash with 51% as the main clinical manifestations, with a predominance of the male gender is 53%, with an adequate weight for their gestational age in 87% , the neonates were born at week 38 in 51%, the pregnant performed 5 to 6 prenatal controls with 31%, it is important to point out that they received or not, 1 to 2 doses of treatment represents 53% and the conclusion of this research is that neonates will present fewer clinical manifestations while they have an early diagnosis during pregnancy and if the pregnant receives timely treatment.	es_ES
