Resumen
Los seguros nacen por la necesidad que tienen los clientes de salvaguardar
sus bienes o lo que llamamos el interés asegurable. Es así que se fueron
desarrollando las compañías de seguros cuya finalidad es la de indemnizar
a los asegurados. A la par de estas empresas aparecieron los Asesores de
seguros también llamados Brokers cuya función es la de asesorar al cliente
en forma veraz, detallada y permanente acerca de las condiciones del
contrato. Para todo esto se debe tomar en cuenta los principios básicos de
seguros, los cuales deben sobresalir en las aseguradoras ya que los
clientes depositan su confianza al dejar en su cuidado los bienes tan
preciados. Sin embargo la falta de comunicación oportuna es un problema
que actualmente amenaza el sistema de seguros en el Ecuador, generando
una opinión errónea por parte de los clientes. La Superintendencia de
Bancos y Seguros nace para salvaguardar y hacer cumplir los contratos de
seguros mediante un eficiente y eficaz proceso de regulación y supervisión
que protege los intereses del público mientras ayuda a contribuir con el
fortalecimiento del sistema económico social, solidario y sostenible. Debido
a esta problemática que se presenta hemos realizado un Manual para el
consumidor de Seguros en donde detallen los aspectos positivos y
negativos que debe conocer el asegurado antes, durante y después de la
contratación de una póliza de seguros, el cual permita despejar todas las
dudas del usuario y terminar con el malestar de los afiliados.

However the lack of timely communication is a problem that currently threatens the insurance system in Ecuador, generating an erroneous opinion from customers. The Superintendence of Banks and Insurance was created to safeguard and enforce contracts of insurance through an efficient and effective regulatory and supervisory process that protects the public interest while helping contribute to strengthening the economic, social, supportive and sustainable system. Due to this problem that occurs have done a Manual Consumer Insurance detailing where the positive and negative things you should know the insured before, during and after hiring an insurance policy, which allows clear all doubts user and end the malaise of members.
