dc.description.abstractEl objetivo principal del presente trabajo investigativo fue caracterizar una posible relación entre el ausentismo de padres de familia al departamento de consejería estudiantil, y su impacto en el rendimiento académico de los estudiantes. Concretamente esto habría ocurrido, en un plantel educativo fiscal de Guayaquil; esta afirmación se respaldó en unos resultados de observaciones realizadas por estudiantes de psicología durante su práctica pre profesional. Mediante el abordaje al equipo de profesionales del DECE, complacidos que por primera vez sean tomadas en consideración sus inquietudes y problemáticas. La perspectiva metodológica aplicada fue esencialmente cualitativa y de alcance descriptivo, considerando originalmente a 135 estudiantes del centro educativo de los cuales 45 serían observados hasta la finalización del estudio, inicialmente se aplicó una entrevista semi estructurada que incluía preguntas encaminadas a obtener datos informativos básicos e indicio del posible impacto en el rendimiento académico. Posteriormente se aplicaron 2 test y 2 registros de asistencias a los 45 estudiantes observados hasta el final del estudio. Para determinar la vulnerabilidad de los observados en su rendimiento escolar por el abandono de los padres o si esto solo era un escudo para su conformismo, así como para establecer si la ausencia de los padres al DECE impacta de alguna manera el rendimiento académico de sus hijos. El estudio revelo que el rendimiento académico más bajo tenía incidencia en los estudiantes cuyos padres no asistían al DECE causando inestabilidad psicológica con implicaciones negativas en el plano intrapersonal ,interpersonal de los adolescentes por lo que su atención es requerida con celeridad.es_ES
dc.description.abstractThe main objective of this research work was to characterize a possible relationship between absenteeism of parents to the department of student counseling, and its impact on the academic performance of students. Specifically this would have happened, in a fiscal educational establishment in Guayaquil; this affirmation was supported by the results of observations made by psychology students during their pre-professional practice. By approaching the team of professionals of the DECE, pleased that for the first time their concerns and problems are taken into consideration. The methodological perspective applied was essentially qualitative and descriptive in scope, originally considering 135 students from the educational center of which 45 would be observed until the end of the study, initially a semi-structured interview was applied that included questions aimed at obtaining basic informative data and evidence of the possible impact on academic performance. Subsequently, 2 tests and 2 attendance records were applied to the 45 students observed until the end of the study. To determine the vulnerability of those observed in their school performance due to the abandonment of the parents or if this was only a shield for their conformism, as well as to establish if the absence of the parents to the DECE impacts in some way the academic performance of their children . The study revealed that the lowest academic performance had an impact on students whose parents did not attend the DECE, causing psychological instability with negative implications in the intrapersonal, interpersonal plane of the adolescents, so their attention is required quickly.es_ES
