ANÁLISIS DE LOS PROCESOS COGNITIVOS BÁSICOS MEDIANTE EL TEST NEUROPSI EN NIÑOS DE EDAD ESCOLAR EN EL SUR DE GUAYAQUIL

Resumen
El presente trabajo de titulación ha sido desarrollado bajo la metodología de sistematización de experiencias prácticas, se realizó conforme a los lineamientos del Proyecto universitario “Niñez Positiva: Promoción, prevención y atención integral dirigida a niñas y niños con déficits de aprendizaje y conductuales en niños de 6 a 12 años” en vinculación con la Fundación NURTAC.
Considerando como punto de partida el estudio de las características de la fase de evaluación neuropsicología infantil mediante el uso de la Batería NEUROPSI considerando los factores facilitadores y obstaculizadores dentro del proceso evaluación de la atención y memoria en niños de 6 a 12 años residentes del sector urbano-marginal, en las calles 50 y Rosendo Avilés (llamada Ciudad Perdida) suroeste de la ciudad de Guayaquil.
Como este es un proceso de sistematización de experiencias prácticas, más que exponer una impresión diagnóstica del funcionamiento de los procesos cognitivos básicos de los niños, haciendo un análisis crítico de las situaciones vividas durante el proceso de evaluación y diagnóstico. Siendo la pregunta eje: ¿Cuáles son factores facilitadores y obstaculizadores que influyen en la atención y memoria durante el proceso de evaluación neuro-psicológica infantil?
Concluyendo que, los Factores facilitadores fueron la colaboración de las familias, el interés y motivación de los niños, el adecuado espacio físico y ambiente de la Fundación NURTAC; en cambio, los Factores obstaculizadores fueron el horario de la aplicación, las actividades y lenguaje del Test NEUROPSI que no están alineadas a nuestra realidad social, elementos del ambiente que en ocasiones también fue desfavorable
His degree work has been developed under the methodology of systematization of practical experiences, was carried out in accordance with the guidelines of the University Project “Positive Childhood: Promotion, prevention and comprehensive care for girls and boys with learning and behavioral deficits in children of 6 to 12 years” in connection with the NURTAC Foundation. Considering as a starting point the study of the characteristics of the infant neuropsychology evaluation phase through the use of the NEUROPSI Battery considering the facilitating and impeding factors in the process of attention and memory evaluation in children aged 6 to 12 years residents of the urban sector -marginal, in the streets 50 and Rosendo Avilés (called Lost City) southwest of the city of Guayaquil. As this is a process of systematization of practical experiences, rather than exposing a diagnostic impression of the functioning of the basic cognitive processes of children, making a critical analysis of the situations experienced during the evaluation and diagnosis process. As the main question: What are facilitating and impeding factors that influence attention and memory during the process of child neuro-psychological evaluation? Concluding that, the facilitating factors were the collaboration of the families, the interest and motivation of the children, the adequate physical space and environment of the NURTAC Foundation; on the other hand, the obstacles were the application schedule, the activities and language of the NEUROPSI Test that are not aligned to our social reality, elements of the environment that was also sometimes unfavorable
