Resumen
La Biblioteca Municipal de Guayaquil” es un lugar que resguarda gran parte de la historia e identidad de la ciudad. De acuerdo a la investigación que se realizó se pudo constatar que la apariencia interior de la Biblioteca no resulta muy atrayente para los usuarios es por ese motivo que el objetivo de este estudio es proponer una remodelación y reorganización total de las áreas y mobiliarios que componen la Biblioteca Municipal de Guayaquil no solo para incentivar a los usuarios a acudir a este lugar, sino para motivarlos a pasar tiempo dentro de este. Para esta situación se requiere optimizar el espacio mediante la creación de mobiliarios ergonómicos y funcionales para cada área, además de tener en cuenta la cantidad de iluminación requerida según la función que cada espacio cumple, en el proceso de modernización del edificio una de las grandes características que componen esta propuesta es convertirlo en un lugar totalmente accesible para las personas con movilidad reducida
The "Biblioteca Municipal de Guayaquil" is a place that protects a large part of the history and identity of the city. According to the research that was carried out, it was found that the interior appearance of the Library is not very attractive for users, and for this reason the objective of this study is to propose a total remodeling and reorganization of the areas and furnishings that make up the "Biblioteca Municipal de Guayaquil" not only to encourage users to go to this place, but to motivate them to spend time inside it.
