Metodologia para el empleo de medios audiovisuales en el proceso de enseñanza-aprendizaje de las matemáticas

Resumen
El objetivo principal de este trabajo fue determinar la incidencia de los medios audiovisuales como
estrategia metodológica del proceso de enseñanza -aprendizaj e de la matemática, mediante el uso de
herramientas tecnológicas de parte de los estudiantes de quinto año de Educación General Básica.
La investigación se realizó en la Escuela de Educación Básica Juan Bautista Yagual Mite, ubicada
en el cantón Playas, parroquia General Villamil Barrio San Jacinto. La población a la cual se le
aplicó el estudio está comprendida por alumnos del quinto año de educación bási ca, de los cuales
participaron activamente en todo el proceso 42 estudiantes siendo 23 hombres y 19 muj eres. Para
garantizar la confiabilidad, la cual se refiere a la precisión de los resultados, se validaron las pruebas
de entrada y salida por tres expert os. Adicionalmente, se realizó una prueba piloto y se calculó el
Alfa de Cronbach. Se verificó la normalidad de los resultados en las pruebas antes y después de la
intervención con la prueba de Ryan-J oiner, que es similar a la de Shapiro-Wilk. Finalmente, se aplicó
la prueba t de Student pareada, en la que se verificó que los resultados en la prueba de salida eran
significativamente diferentes que los de la entrada. Es decir, se obtuvo mej ores resultados luego de
la intervención realizada con e l uso de GeoGebra. Todos estos resultados se realizaron con un nivel
de significación estadística del 0,05. Es importante que los profesores trabaj en con técnicas
significativas que fomenten la participación de los estudiantes en el aprendizaj e de esta materia.
The purpose of this work was to determine the incidence of audiovisual media as a methodological strategy of the mathematics teaching-learning process, through the use of technological tools by fifth-year students of Basic General Education. The research was carried out at the Juan Bautista Yagual Mite School of Basic Education, located in the Playas canton, General Villamil Barrio San Jacinto parish. The population to which the study was applied is comprised of students in the fifth year of basic education, of which 42 students actively participated in the entire process, 23 men and 19 women. To ensure reliability, which refers to the precision of the results, the input and output tests were validated by three experts. In addition, a pilot test was carried out and Cronbach's Alpha was calculated. The normality of the results in the tests before and after the intervention was verified with the test of Ryan-Joiner, which is similar to Shapiro-Wilk. Finally, the paired Student's t-test was applied, in which it was verified that the results in the exit test were significantly different than those of the entry. That is, better results were obtained after the intervention carried out with the use of GeoGebra. All these results were carried out with a level of statistical significance of 0.05.
